By identifying your Purpose you will unlock a hugely powerful motivation tool, as when you are training and competing in Triathlon you will be On Purpose and fully enjoy what you are doing because it means so much to you.

Having the right Mindset in sport is critical to success, its more than just focusing on Performance which is unlikely to provide you with sufficient long term motivation to succeed time and time again.​

A Performance Driven mindset is one where the focus is entirely on achieving an outcome. For example, to win a race, to achieve a new Personal Best. But a Purpose Driven driven mindset is about focusing on the Why and treats the next race or target as a step towards a greater end and not the end itself.
